The Tower of London
The Tower of London is London's castle, standing menacingly on its riverside for a thousand years. Its seen hundreds of prisoners, and even the executions of three queens, including Anne Boleyn. These days, it's still one of the King's palaces, and where he keeps his Crown Jewels. We'll also meet his royal guards: the King's Guard (the ones who wear the bearskins) and the Yeoman Warders (better known as the beefeaters), and everyone's favourite residents of the Tower, the ravens!
Where does it take place?
This tour takes place within the Tower of London.
How much does it cost?
My standard rate for a single tour is £275 for the group, or we can chain two tours together in a day for £420, and I'll find you somewhere nice for lunch in between. You may also wish to familiarise yourself with my cancellation policy.
How long does it take?
This tour is the most variable in terms of length, as it can really depend on how busy the Tower is. I recommend leaving a half-day free, especially during school holidays.
Is this tour wheelchair-accessible?
The Tower is partially accessible by wheelchair. You can find out more about access here.
What should I wear?
Low shoes are best for dealing with the Tower's cobbles and narrow staircases. We will be outdoors for sections of this tour, so please bring a hood or hat if it looks like rain.
How many people can fit on this tour?
Up to 20 people can fit on this tour at no extra charge.
